Mist Mania
With theoretical spring upon us here in Chicago and warmer days theoretically approaching I thought it would be fun to talk about my mists. Right now I have 6... which some people would say is too many, but I chose to ignore them. I will admit to forgetting I already owned a couple (I'm looking at you rosewaters) for a few months which led to the purchasing of more. I use half to activate my fave Ren Hydro-boost serum and the other half whenever my skin needs a boost. All of these precious misty babies can be used over makeup but I do have a separate makeup setting spray I'm excluding from this situation.
I use all of these liberally on the skin to activate my Ren Flash Hydro-Boost or as a toner step if I'm feeling lazy. I use each one a little bit differently depending on what my skin is really in the mood for. Since each of these has different ingredients they all treat my skin a little bit differently!

I use these dudes on an already made up face. I've had zero issues of them disrupting mascara or foundation etc. I mostly use these guys on a naked face though or even as a 'skincare setting spray' for a final step.
I use all of these pretty regularly but my current go to's are the Mario Badescu Rosewater, Kiehl's Cactus Flower and Caudalie Beauty Elixir. As these run out I'll just continue using what I've got around unless a holy grail facial mist is released by the Gods. I know some people have had issues with mists stinging the eyes but thats an issue I have yet to come across. Notable: the Mario Badescu with Green Tea, Pixi Milky Mist and the Glossier Soothing Mist don't taste particularly wonderful on the lips. Although a quick wipe with clean fingers or a towel quickly remedy this situation.
